I’m “Coach Nat” and I am on a MISSION to raise the female voice in the Keto Fitness space and build a TRIBE of Keto sisters in fitness.
I’m a Certified Health & Life Coach, Personal Trainer, and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner specializing in low-carb & ketogenic nutrition for body transformation — with a focus on emotional eating & behavior change.
I transformed my own health and life 10+ years ago by adopting a low carb, Paleo lifestyle & went on to build the body of my DREAMS, becoming a WBFF Diva Bikini PRO at 36 years old!
I was Boston-born, Georgia-bred, and now reside in Maryland with my love, who is also a Keto Fitness Coach (check out his work at UltimateKetogenicFitness.com).
I’m a foodie, self-love & self-care advocate, Ancestral Health enthusiast, former dancer turned bodybuilder, and eating disorder survivor/warrior.
But let’s get one thing clear — I’m NOT your typical Instagram model and influencer selling weight loss teas, waist trainers, and magic diet pills. I am a regular woman (just like you) who became FED UP with the way I was living and one day, decided to do something about it.
My transformation was fueled by heartbreak 💔 and a host of chronic health conditions (GERD, Migraines, Ulcers, dysmenorrhea & ovarian cysts, chronic sinusitis, mood disorders) in my mid-twenties, which I healed naturally through diet and lifestyle change.
After 5 years of competitive bodybuilding, multiple coaching certifications, leading group programs and working with private clients, I left my professional 9-to-5 (just as the pandemic hit in 2020) and ended up in a year-long battle with depression & bulimia.
I took a year off competing, working, and socializing to focus on recovery. Thanks to this time of deep personal growth, therapy, and functional medicine interventions, I emerged as a stronger, more resilient and healthier human being (and a much better Coach) than ever before!
I share all this to assure you my own path hasn’t been linear or easy by any means. I have been overweight, underweight, and perfectly “fit” on the outside while battling demons on the inside. I’ve been there and I understand the struggles intimately – as both a practitioner AND a client. My story illustrates that we are ALL susceptible to setbacks, but we are also ALL capable of overcoming them. We just need to be willing to reach out for the help.
Most importantly, my own journey has taught me 2 very important things that are now at the CENTER of the work I do with women seeking transformation:
- We are all individuals and what works for one of us may not work of another. I don’t prescribe “cookie cutter” meal plans and workout programs. I work with each client where she is, and we design a program TOGETHER with her best interests at heart.
- Aesthetics will never be more important than health & wellbeing. I don’t prescribe band-aids for bullet wounds. If we cannot reach your body goals without preserving and improving your health, I’m not “with it”. Everything we do in my protocols is through the lens of mental & physical health first, body composition second.
My greatest passion & mission in life is to help as many women as possible transform their bodies and lives through real food nutrition, weight training, mental/emotional development, and sustainable lifestyle changes, and so they can live in the bodies & lives they LOVE for LIFE!
I’m here to be your biggest cheerleader, advocate, mentor and guide. I’m here to challenge you and push you to overcome every obstacle in your way, because I KNOW you are capable.
